Tough Times? Yes.

Ever think no one could possibly be going through what you are? Think again. And again.

They are.

On days like today when I feel horrible and am pretty much consumed in self pity, I seem to always be reminded I'm not alone. It breaks my heart. I realize people I'm so close to...friends, family are going through some things that make my "problems" look like I got a paper cut. But what makes matters worse is sometimes I just have no idea how to help. For instance, one of my best friends is going through something I'm going through but how can I help her when I am at a complete loss myself? I want to help more than anything but every time I have tried, I've failed. Because you can't teach someone something you haven't learned yourself.

Life is so full of ups and downs...I'm not sure if I will ever get used to it.

Now faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see.

Concert + New Brother

This past Tuesday my sister and I went to a Point of Grace and Mark Schultz concert in Wichita, Texas. It was AMAZING!! Ever since me and my sisters were really little we listened to Point of Grace and even gave concerts to our parents singing their songs. So, it was super fun getting to see them live! Plus, Mark Schultz was awesome! Here are some pictures of the concert:

The cute, old fashion theater the concert was in!

Point of Grace!! Their new CD, No Changin' Us, is incredible!

Mark Schultz...he was so amazing and has the most powerful voice!

Point of Grace+Mark Schultz=AMAZING!

Toward the end they told us that World Vision International was here and they encouraged us to sponser a child. So, me and my sister saw little Saidi and fell in love with him! We call him the little brother we never had. :) But more importantly, for $35 a month, we can help Saidi and his family with food, clothes, education and more. I can not wait to start writing him letters and learn more about him. I'm so blessed and probably will never understand just how much.

I will keep you posted on Saidi! Also if you could pray that my sister and I would be able to raise $35 a month. It may not seem like alot but we are both going on missions trip this summer and ANY money we get goes to our accounts. (Jessica, my sister, is going to Tanzania, Africa and I am going to Edinburgh, Scotland.) Thanks!
